The RS3's turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder TFSI engine rewards correct spark-plug,
ignition and cooling-system maintenance, particularly where heat and performance demands
are high. Its S tronic dual-clutch transmission requires the correct gearbox oil service at the
applicable interval to protect its hydraulic and clutch-control components. The quattro system
uses an electronically controlled Haldex coupling; its oil also needs periodic servicing, and
pump-screen contamination can impair rear-axle engagement if neglected. On this particular
RS3, both the S tronic gearbox oil service and Haldex oil service have been carried out,
giving prospective buyers reassurance that these important maintenance items have been
addressed. Audi Magnetic Ride dampers and suspension components should also be
checked for condition. Verify service dates, mileage and invoices before publishing.
